The Quantico and Fort Belvoir Programs of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing will host their 4th Annual Fly Tying Marathon in the main gallery of the National Museum of the Marine Corps on Saturday March 18, 2017 from 9am – 5pm.   Flies created at the event will be distributed to programs across the nation for use at PHWFF fly fishing events throughout the year.

If you’re interested, space is limited so you must pre-register for the event by emailing phwquantico@gmail.com.

Interested fly tiers can sign up for one of two, or both, four hour shifts tying flies of their choice in the main gallery of the museum. Tiers are to bring their own materials and tools to tie flies for donation to Project Healing Waters. Refreshments and lunch are provided

Anyone in the area please drop in to show your support and visit the museum. Program Participants should contact your Program Lead to discuss use of program equipment. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
