What started out as a great event clearly went over the top!   Cannot begin to share the participant/guide experiences in such a short space.  Suffice it to say – It was an Awesome Event!

Arriving on Sunday the 4th, we had a solemn invocation followed by guide/participant pairings and an outstanding dinner of barbecue and chicken.  The early evening passed with tunes from a bluegrass group.

Monday the 5th started early with participants on the water by 0830.  Lunch and dinner were at the covered bridge.  Suffice it to say there were many tales of the biggest fish and the one’s that got away.

Tuesday saw the participants swap stream venues and Joe Humphrey giving a few tips and lessons.  Lunch was on the covered bridge and a hearty dinner at the American Legion.

Wednesday morning was free time to fish or share camaraderie departing for home with a box lunch.

Many thanks go out to Dominion Energy for sponsoring and coordinating the event.

A special acknowledgement and Thank You to Joe Humphrey for helping to make this a memorable event.

From streamers to Copper John’s and Mops to Beetles there was so much to offer for our participants.   The majority said they learned so much it will be hard to keep things straight.  Best of all, participants from Erie, Pittsburgh, Altoona, West Bradford made connections that will last forever!

I will let some of their pictures tell the story:
