Regional training reinforces direction and future for PHWFF

July 30, 2018

The most common remark was “surprised” and “it was a lot more than I expected.” That’s how 25 attendees responded after the Kentucky-Ohio Regional Training, lead by Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing CEO Todd Desgrosseilliers.

KY/OH Regional Training 2018

Program Leads, Assistant Program Leads and key volunteers from Cleveland, Akron, Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati, and Louisville attended the weekend event to learn about the goals, policies and procedures of PHWFF.

The highlight of the training was an introduction to the new PHWFF CRM (Customer Relations Management) that will standardize the program throughout the organization, and create instant reporting with data analysis.

Regional training is planned as a regular event as the program grows and new volunteers come onboard to serve more Veteran participants.–DBrent
