Dave Rogers is the president of Time Timer LLC, a consumer products company based in OH that manufactures and markets a variety of innovative visual timers worldwide. Prior to joining Time Timer, he served as the national Director for Volunteer Operations, Membership Services and Youth Education at Trout Unlimited, the country’s leader in trout and salmon conservation.
Over the span of 4 years (2005-2009) he oversaw the following accomplishments: guided the long term strategic planning and overhaul of its youth membership program into what is now known at the “Headwaters Youth Initiative;” implemented a comprehensive strategic planning initiative among its national network of chapter (400+) and state councils (35); and launched a new membership category targeting fly fishing outfitters, guides and other related businesses. From 2003 to 2005, Dave also served as TU’s Director of Program Development. In this role he helped create and significantly expand many of TU’s core conservation programs, with a focus on managing the day to day operations of its grants program (including all public and private sources).
From 2000 to 2003, he worked as a business consultant at Accenture in its San Francisco office. From 1994 to 2000, Dave served as a back country fly fishing guide at Spotted Bear Ranch, located in northwest Montana in the Bob Marshall Wilderness and South Fork of the Flathead watershed. Dave is a graduate of The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business (MBA 1999) and Harvard College (AB 1994) where he played varsity football for the Crimson and helped establish its first ever fly fishing club
