Emily brings over 15 years experience in non-profit management and programming. She graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 1999, and began her career in the museum field, coordinating volunteers and visitor services at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC. Prior to joining PHWFF, Emily also worked in higher education as a Program Coordinator for the Department of Academic Affairs at the College of Southern Maryland.
As Vice President, Human Resources and Training of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc., Emily manages the organization’s human resources, insurance, and data management, including PHWFF’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. She works closely with staff and volunteers to provide administrative support for a wide range of areas, from policy development to information technology.
Emily is a native of Southern Maryland and likes to spend her free time at her kids’ sporting events and running with her rescue dogs.
