With more than 17 years of experience in education in both West Virginia and Virginia I have worn many hats: coach, athletic director, teacher, coaching certification instructor, and adjunct professor at WVU Institute of Technology. I earned a bachelor’s degree in social studies education and a master’s degree in athletic administration. Educating others is something I am passionate about. My educational career includes both public and private classroom teaching and most recently virtual teaching. I firmly believe in lifelong learning.
I have a lifelong love for the outdoors that began as a young Boy Scout and continued into adulthood fishing and hunting with friends. I currently reside in Beckley, WV and enjoy spending time at my cabin in the mountains of Ashe County, NC. I am extremely excited to be working for an organization that helps heroes of America heal through personal experiences with the people of PHW and flyfishing.
