As Vice President and Chief Program Officer of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc., Megan spearheads the organization’s day-to-day program initiatives around the country. Her close work with volunteers, participants, grantors, and other supporters allows her to contribute to the organization’s strategies and policies to ensure PHWFF operates effectively while carrying out its mission.
Megan brings over 17 years of experience in the financial services and management industry. She received her B.S. in Business Administration from Towson State University and began her career at Charles Schwab as an Investment Specialist providing wealth management solutions to affluent investors. After advancing to the position of Acting Branch Manager at Schwab, she decided to seek employment in her hometown and joined Community Bank of Tri County as the Director of Branch Operations managing and leading the operations, growth, and development of their retail branches. Subsequently, she took a position as Senior Loan Officer at Chesapeake Residential Finance allowing her to hone her lending, marketing and promotional skills.
Megan lives in Southern Maryland with her husband, Henry and children, Liam and Sophia. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and active with her kids’ soccer teams, going to the beach and boating.
