Sarah Holt brings over 15 years of experience in donor relations, marketing, education, and management. She graduated from Marietta College in 2005 with a degree in marketing. She received her Masters of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications in 2007 and her MBA in 2010, both from West Virginia University.
Sarah has volunteered for PHWFF for several years, getting introduced to the organization by her husband, Bubba, who volunteers as the Regional Coordinator for the West Virginia region. Sarah recently became the Program Lead for the program in Parkersburg, WV, and has helped for several years with the West Virginia regional event in Thornwood, WV, held the first weekend of every June. She is very passionate about PHWFF and its mission. She not only sees what it does for our participants every day, but what it did for her own family after her husband’s car accident in 2013, which left him with a broken neck. Even though he never served in the military, the support they received from the PHWFF family was very important during his recovery. From this experience, they know that PHWFF truly does care about all of their participants and all of their volunteers.
Sarah resides in West Virginia with her husband, their two kids – Brett and Emma – and their two hound dogs, Maggie and Jazzie. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her family fly fishing, musky fishing, hunting, spending time at their camp in the West Virginia mountains, and spending time in the Outer Banks. She is an avid supporter of her WVU Mountaineers. She also serves as Board Secretary as a member of the Board of Directors of Westbrook Health Services, a mental health organization located in Parkersburg, WV.
Sarah is excited and honored to be working for such a wonderful organization such as PHWFF, and is excited for the future!
