Resources for Your virtual Meetings

Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. programs are hosting virtual meetings to ensure vulnerable veterans have a continuum of care and supportive community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Engaging With a Virtual Audience

Facebook Live

Facebook Live broadcasts enable you to provide fly tying tutorials, Q&A sessions, fly fishing education and more! If the broadcast is from a public page, individuals can watch it without a Facebook profile (or without logging in)! Since they're public this has two added bonuses: recruitment of new volunteers/participants and elevating your program for online fundraising and outreach. The videos are also saved for future use!

YouTube Live

YouTube Live streams can be hosted only through approved YouTube channels. Please contact media@projecthealingwaters.org for approval. The St. Cloud Program is using their regular meeting times to host weekly fly tying tutorials at the same time, same place each week

Facebook Live

Facebook Live lets you broadcast video in real-time to your followers, as well as directly to an event page or group—all from your mobile phone (or tablet). As you broadcast, people tune in and engage with you through comments and likes! You can respond to these comments in real-time or answer them live via the video feed.

Because Facebook Live broadcasts are public, it is a great option to reach veterans in-need across the country and expose our unique brand of therapy to those who can benefit from it while simultaneously connecting with PHWFF program participants and volunteers.  Since the broadcast is done on a public page, individuals can watch it without a Facebook profile (or without logging in)!
