ZOOM AND TEAMS BACKGROUNDS
ADDING BACKGROUND TO TEAMS
1. Find the background image you’d like to use, and click the blue Download button below it.

2. The image will open larger on your screen. The image may appear backwards – this is correct. The image will be flipped when you add it to Teams. Right click on the image and select “Save Image As…”

3. A “Save As” box will appear. Select the folder on your computer that you’d like to save the background image to. It will typically default to your Downloads folder – you can choose whichever location you like, just remember which location you selected for future steps. Click the Save button.

4. Next, open Teams on your computer and make sure you are signed in to your account (if you’re not already signed in).

5. Click the Meet icon from the list along the left side of your screen. Once you’re on the Meet screen, click the Meet Now button.

6. A new meeting window will open. Below your camera preview, click on the Background Filters button. Note: your camera must be on for this option to appear.

7. A list of background image options will appear on the right. At the top of this list, click the Add New button.

8. A new window will appear. On the left side of the window, find and select the location where you saved the background image in step 3. Click on the background image in the list of files to select it, and click Open in the bottom right corner of the window. The window will automatically close.

9. You’ll now see your new background image in your camera preview screen. You can either close the meeting window or continue with a meeting. This background will now appear on all future meetings unless you select another optin.

If the image is reversed (you’ll be able to tell by looking at the PHWFF logo in the background image), click the checkbox next to “Mirror my video” and it will flip the image. If everything looks good, you can close the Settings box. Your new background will now appear on your next Zoom call.
