A new fly tying and rod building class for disabled veterans started last week in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh.

The instructors are PHWFF Pittsburgh volunteers Charlie Yeager and John Mlakar. The class was attended by two Navy veterans and we also welcomed two new father-son volunteers: Gary and Craig Madison.

The sessions will take place on the second and fourth Thursday of the month from 7-9pm.

Thanks to PHWFF volunteer Gretchen Fay for use of the room at the Stephen Foster Center.
