Greenbrier River Fly Fishing Classic, Inc. Donates $3,000 to PHWFF West Virginia
The 6th Annual Greenbrier River Fly Fishing Classic, Inc. was a success! For this year’s event, 54 anglers competed, an increase from 39 at last year’s event. Of the total number of anglers who completed, 20 were Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) participants, and some traveled all the way from South Carolina, Georgia, and Louisiana!
Because of the growth of the event, a donation of $3,000 was made to PHWFF WV. This donation will be used for programs and the disabled veteran participants they serve in West Virginia.
Planning will begin soon for next year’s event, and we are looking forward to bigger and better things. Thanks to the Greenbrier River Fly Fishing Classic, Inc. team for putting this great event on, and for their support of PHWFF.
