We are proud to announce that Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. has received a grant from the Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF) to support our annual National Fly Rod Building Program and to continue strengthening the infrastructure support crucial to the operation of 216 Programs nationwide; ensuring a unique and uniform experience for those veterans participating their programs.
BWF works to ensure injured veterans and their families are thriving long after they return home. The team at BWF navigates the maze of over 46,000 nonprofit organizations to find and fund innovative programs in communities where veterans, their families and caregivers live and work.
Receiving a grant from BWF is an honor that recognizes the dedication, focus and effectiveness of our staff, volunteers and supporters. As a grant recipient, our organization joins the Bob Woodruff Foundation grantee network, a collaboration of top-tier programs and advocates working to help our heroes on the homefront.

Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings.
Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. began in 2005 serving wounded military service members at Walter Reed Army Medical Center returning from combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Since then, PHWFF has expanded nationwide, establishing over 200 highly successful programs in Department of Defense hospitals, Warrior Transition Units, and Veterans Affairs Medical Centers and clinics. In 2015 alone, PHWFF served 7,424 injured and disabled military service personnel and disabled veterans.
