He tied a Klinkhammer. Here’s what you need to tie along at home:

Hook: Partridge 15BNY
Thread: Semperfli nano silk
Tail: Whiting Farms CDL
Shuck: Semperflash krystal Pearl
Body: Semperfli dirty bug yarn
Thorax: Semperfli sparkle dub
Parachute: kip/ calf tail in white and hot orange
Hackle: Whiting Farms Natural Dun
UV: Solarez Medium on the parachute post for the bondic post method

The Klinkhammer fly is a type of parachute fly designed by Dutch angler Hans Van Klinken in the early 1980s. Standard parachute flies are designed to imitate an insect emerging from the water, so the body of the fly is suspended in the water surface.
