Daisy is a University of Florida graduate, where she was an All-American and Academic All-American in track and field, and she holds an MS in meteorology from Florida State. She spent several years as a middle school educator before moving into nonprofit work.
Her dad was a US Navy SEAL, and fly fishing is a huge part of her family’s life. Helping veterans find the same peace on the water that her family has always found there is why she’s at Project Healing Waters.
She’s also a Triple Crown hiker and kayaked 1,500 miles of the Missouri River. She lives in Missoula with her husband, their two young children, and their German shorthaired pointer.
