Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. (the “”Organization”, “PHWFF “,”we “,”us “,”our “) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you donate to PHW via our website, www.projecthealingwaters.org, phone, email, mail and/or any other sources. By submitting information to PHW or to any of its staff or volunteers, you consent to the terms and conditions of this policy. 

This Policy applies to our current and prospective Employees, Volunteers, others who hold themselves out to be working for, or in conjunction with, the Organization (our Representatives), and our Participants.

We use Classy, a third-party platform, to facilitate the collection of donations on our website. The following types of information are collected during the donation process:

  • Personal Information: Including your name, email address, phone number, and other contact details.
  • Payment Information: Including credit card information, bank account details, and other payment-related data.
  • Transaction Information: Including donation amount, date of donation, and campaign information. 

Purpose of Data Collection

  • To process and acknowledge donations.
  • To issue receipts and tax documentation.
  • To communicate with you about your donations and provide updates on their impact.
  • To analyze donation patterns and improve our fundraising strategies.

Disclosure of Information

  • We share your information with Classy to facilitate the donation process. Classy’s privacy policy governs their use of your information.
  • We may share your information with payment processors and financial institutions involved in the transaction process.
  • We may disclose your information to comply with legal requirements.
  • PHW will never rent, trade, or sell donors’ e-mail addresses with any other organization.
  • PHW may on occasion share donors’ names and mailing addresses with its service providers who provide donor research services or mailing services while maintaining donor confidentiality.
  • PHW does not otherwise disclose donor personal information to other third parties.
  • PHW donors have the right to remain anonymous.
  • PHW will strictly honor all donor requests for anonymity.
  • PHW donors have the right, upon request, to promptly review any donor personal information that PHW has collected about them.

  • Donation transactions are processed securely through Classy’s payment processing system.
