Join us for the inaugural Healing on the Fly – Boston
Presented by Ropes & Gray, Healing on the Fly Boston is an evening in support of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing and the thousands of disabled veterans they serve each year across the United States
Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) is pleased to announce that The Inaugural Healing on the Fly Boston Gala Dinner and Auction is set to take place at 6:00 pm on October 24, 2017 at The Exchange. All proceeds from the event will go towards providing the thousands of injured and disabled veterans served by PHWFF with the support they need on their journeys to recovery
Healing on the Fly Boston will feature a special address from President and CEO Colonel (ret) Todd Desgrosseilliers, USMC and a musical selection from acclaimed singer and DJ, Rich DiMare.  The evening also will feature a cocktail hour with silent auction, seated dinner, a short program featuring PHWFF veteran guest speaker SSG (ret) George Draper, U.S. Army as well as a live auction with many unique specialty items.
This lovely event is being chaired by a great PHWFF supporter and champion Tommy Lyons, the Director for Community Services Department at MassHousing Agency, a member of the Secretary of the VA Advisory Committee on Homeless Veterans, Chairman of the Massachusetts Veteran and War Memorial Commission and a member of the Governorâs Veterans Advisory Council and Chairmen of the Sub âCommittee on Veterans Housing. Tom is the recipient of the 2011 âMarine For Lifeâ Award presented by General James Amos, Commandant of the Marine Corps for his 30 years of advocacy on behalf of our nations Veterans.
