Kalee Kelly, RE/MAX One, Wins Battle of the Baskets for Southern Maryland Slam
For the 2021 Southern Maryland Slam fundraiser held in September, Kalee Kelly was declared the winner of the 2021 Battle of the Baskets for the Southern Maryland Slam, a title she also won for the 2020 event.
For this year’s online auction, Kalee donated a basket titled “It’s Party Time!” This basket, which was actually a party bucket, included a rod and reel, Partida Blanco Tequila, glassware, taco and margarita kit, a picture, and dinnerware. The basket won the Battle of the Baskets contest with a $265 winning bid.

We truly appreciate the support of Kalee and the other realtors for the Southern Maryland Slam, and our participants across the country in our 220-plus programs.
When asked for a quote that Kalee felt best described the fact of why she got involved with Battle of the Baskets, she used a quote from William J. Brennan that states “We must meet the challenge rather than wish it were not before us.” At Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc., our participants and volunteers do that every day.
We look forward to our next Southern Maryland Slam, and Battle of the Baskets, in the fall of 2022, and we hope to be back together in person!
