February 15, 2019 Parkersburg, West Virginia – The inaugural Mountaineer Healing on the Fly benefit concert will be held on Saturday, March 16 2019 at the Clay Center in Charleston, West Virginia. The concert features West Virginia country duo Adairs Run, who recently appeared on the television show, Real Country USA, and opening act will be Justin Biltonen, bassist from Three Doors Down. Proceeds from the evening will go to support the West Virigina programs of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. (PHWFF).

PHWFF, a nationwide non-profit organization based in Maryland, is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings. PHWFF has over 200 highly successful, volunteer-run programs in Department of Defense hospitals, Warrior Transition Units, and Veterans Affairs Medical Centers and clinics across the United States.

West Virginia is home to 9 volunteer-run PHWFF programs who strive to serve those West Virginians who made great sacrifices in the service of our Nation through this restorative and rehabilitative program.

β€œWe are excited to put on this concert and feature a band from West Virginia, and great PHWFF champions: Barnwood Builders” said Bubba Holt, PHWFF WV Regional Coordinator. β€œThe most important thing is all of the proceeds from this event will benefit the 9 programs in West Virginia, and all of the disabled veterans they serve. The proceeds will provide them with the support they need on their journeys to recovery. This is going to be the start of many great things for PHWFF and our veterans in West Virginia.”

Tickets for the concert range from $50 – $100. VIP tickets will be $100 each, and include a seat in the front section, food and cash bar, and a meet and greet with the band Adairs Run. PHWFF participants will have a code upon arrival at The Clay Center for a reduced VIP ticket rate.

Tickets can be purchased at www.theclaycenter.org.
