“A Sanctuary from the Rigors of Everyday Life” is HomeWaters tagline. For many Project Healing Waters Veterans that line has become a reality over the last 11 years.
HomeWaters and its members have long supported Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing. HomeWaters was the first place to host an overnight destination trip in the early days of Project Healing Waters and has continued to do so every year. Their cash and in-kind donations total more than $250,000 and last year they helped start a tournament to benefit Project Healing Waters.
Our participants consider the streams around Spruce Creek among their favorite to fish….and why not, year after year some of the biggest trout caught are landed during their annual trip to HomeWaters.
This year, for the first time, you too can support Project Healing Waters just by booking a trip to HomeWaters…I’ll let their membership director Mike Harpster, explain:
“As a donor of Project Healing Waters we know that you share the same passion for helping our injured veterans as we do. And, we believe you most likely share our passion for fly fishing too. That is why HomeWaters will contribute to Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing 20% of the pre-tax cost of any retreat trip taken to HomeWaters in 2016. All you need to do is provide this special code when making your reservation (204PHWFF2016). You don’t have to be an injured veteran to benefit from the therapeutic qualities of fly fishing at HomeWaters.”
We hope you will take advantage of this offer and help Project Healing Waters by making a reservation to fish at HomeWaters sometime during 2016. Please don’t hesitate to contact Mike Harpster for further details on scheduling a visit.
