The 3rd Annual Broadmoor Invitational is a special event in support of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing and the thousands of disabled veterans they serve each year across the United States
It is our pleasure to announce that Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. (PHWFF) is holding its 3rd Annual Broadmoor Invitational on Monday, August 26, 2019 at The Broadmoor Fly Fishing Camp near Colorado Springs, CO. This exciting fundraising event will strengthen PHWFF’s efforts to reach disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans in the Rocky Mountain region and throughout the United States.
This special day will bring together disabled veteran participants, volunteers and sponsors for a fun day of angling in the pristine waters of the Rocky Mountains to strengthen the efforts of PHWFF to bring their unique brand of healing to even more disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans.
Located just 75 minutes west of the famed Broadmoor Hotel, the Broadmoor Fish Camp is situated along a five-mile stretch of Colorado’s famed Tarryall River. This outstanding locale borders 120,000 acres of the Lost Creek Wilderness and will offer PHWFF disabled veteran participants and sponsors the opportunity to experience some of the best fishing in Colorado on more than five miles of private waters under the guidance and tutelage of professional Broadmoor guides.
The 3rd Annual Broadmoor Invitational will stand as a testament to the life changing benefits derived from powerful combination of community and angling.
Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings. Activities are provided free of charge to all participants. What began in 2005 as a single program at Walter Reed Army Medical Center now exceeds 200 programs led by more than 4,000 volunteers.
For over a decade PHWFF has focused on healing those who serve. It is through the tremendous contributions of supporters and volunteers nationwide that PHWFF served over 8,300 deserving members of our armed services in 2018.
