‘The Waters that Heal Us’ was filmed by Grace Eggleston, a graduate student at American University’s Center for Environmental Filmmaking. Her short film highlights our Washington DC VAMC program during an outing to Double Spur Outfitters and our unique brand of healing.

“My favorite part of making this film was getting to meet all the amazing people that are involved with D.C.’s PHWFF. After only spending a few days with the group, it’s clear that the participants have a great time together and the volunteers are extremely dedicated to making the program a success. They were all so welcoming and open to being filmed on their fishing trip out to the Shenandoah Valley. Everyone in D.C. should know about this group!” – Grace Eggleston
