Healing Saturday in Tacoma, Washington strives to raise awareness of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, a national nonprofit serving disabled veterans in local communities across the United States
Tacoma, WA, August 22, 2019 – The Fort Lewis program of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) will be holding a special event on Saturday, September 28, 2019 to raise funds and awareness of their cause and the injured and disabled veterans they serve in greater Tacoma, Washington.
We are pleased to announce that thanks to a local partnership with Puget Sound Fly Company, the event will take place from 11:00AM – 4:00PM at 6001 at Tacoma Mall Blvd, Suite B2, Tacoma, WA. The event will feature special opportunities like entertainment, food, and all-things fly fishing to aid in supporting disabled veterans on their journey to recovery.
Representatives from fly fishing companies such as CF Burkheimer, G Loomis, Nymphmaster, Master Nymph, and Puget Sound Guides will be on hand during the day. Many shop items will also be on sale or specially priced. Veteran tied flies and fly sets will also be available to include the famous Red-White-Blue display fly. 10% of shop sales and 100% of the veteran tied flies will be donated to the Ft. Lewis Program of PHWFF.
