The Blennerhassett Chapter of Trout Unlimited (BCTU) recently made a $1,000 donation to the PHWFF Parkersburg program. BCTU has been a longtime supporter of PHWFF Parkersburg, giving several monetary and in kind donations over the years. The BCTU members have also volunteered for the Parkersburg program, doing such things as leading fly tying sessions for the PHWFF Parkersburg program.

“Without the support of our TU partner, the BCTU, we wouldn’t be able to do everything that we are able to do for our participants,” said Sarah Holt, PHWFF Parkersburg Program Lead. “They have supported us in many different ways throughout the years, from monetary and in kind donations to volunteering their time. We are truly grateful for their support and partnership.”

The donation from the BCTU will go directly towards supporting the participants of the PHWFF Parkersburg program by helping to purchase needed extra materials and equipment and help towards costs of day and overnight outings. The PHWFF Parkersburg program has a lot planned for the upcoming year, including its first overnight outing in over two years at Elk Springs Resort the weekend of April 1-3, 2022. Donations like this will help towards those costs, and providing unforgettable experiences for our participants.

Thank you to the BCTU for your continued support!
