For a second year in a row, participants and volunteers from the Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. (PHWFF) Clarksburg program gathered in Philippi, West Virginia, for a day outing at Mike Halliday’s farm.

The event kicked off in the morning of Saturday, May 18, and ran throughout the afternoon hours. The event was generously sponsored by Mr. Halliday, who stocked his pond with trout and bass. Several other local businesses generously donated food and other door prizes.

For some of the participants, this day trip was their first opportunity to catch a trout on a fly rod. The enjoyment of catching fish and spending time in great company was clearly evident. This trip was the second in what is now planned to be an annual event for the Clarksburg program.
