On December 28, 2016 the Viera, FL Program was invited for a tour of the Renzetti factory in Titusville, FL. During the day, the program was treated to lunch, professional fly tying demonstrations, and a special casting instruction session with Jon Cave.
Renzetti Inc is a family owned business that started its operations in Romansville, PA in the early 1970s. Since that time, the company has grown to manufacture some of the finest fly tying and rod building equipment in the world, while also providing engineering and manufacturing services to many other industries around the country. Renzetti, Inc. owns many patents and trademark and was the first fly tying vise manufacturer to offer a True Rotary Vise. The Renzetti family, and company, has long supported PHWFF and their generosity in Florida has helped bring fly tying and the sport of fly fishing to countless veteran participants by providing their vises and equipment to Programs throughout the region.
The tour came about through Program Lead John Boyer and his long standing relationship with the Renzetti’s and provided an opportunity to say “thanks” for their continuous support. To show their appreciation, the Program presented the Renzetti’s with a special, one-of-a-kind shadow box filled with flies tied by participants on their special Renzetti vises.
Our continued thanks to Renzetti for their great support of our cause and the veterans we serve.
