Watch a beautiful short film from West Virginia WILD below featuring the programs, volunteers, and disabled veteran participants in the PHWFF West Virginia Region.
“This was the 4th annual event at Thornwood led by Bubba Holt and Nathan Leasure. This years event was jam-packed with entomology lessons, shocking demos, fly tying, casting competitions, and some good ole story telling. It was a great time”
The West Virginia Region of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing offers volunteer-run programs that teach classes on an on-going, long term basis. Offering much more than a one day fishing trip. For many disabled veteran participants, the socialization and camaraderie of the classes are just as important as the fishing outings. Our thanks to West Virginia WILD for beautifully highlighting this special event.
