Healing Saturday strives to raise awareness of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, a national nonprofit serving disabled veterans in local communities across the United States

For Immediate Release

Charlotte, NC, August 6, 2019 – The Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc program in Charlotte will be holding a special event on Saturday, September 28, 2019 to raise funds and awareness of their cause and the injured and disabled veterans they serve.  

We are pleased to announce that thanks to a local partnership with Bass Pro Shops at Concord Mills the event will take place from 10AM until 5PM at 8181 Concord Mills Blvd, Concord, NC 28027.  Healing Saturday will feature special opportunities like all-things fly fishing to aid in supporting disabled veterans on their journey to recovery. 

There will be casting demonstrations, fly tying demonstrations and an opportunity for visitors to try their hand at both casting and fly tying.  Please contact the Project Healing Waters Charlotte Program Lead, John Costa, at: john.costa@projecthealingwaters.org with any questions you might have.

Healing Saturday is a national movement.
