July 6, 2018 – Murfreesboro, TN – Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc.(PHWFF) is pleased to announce that it’s Murfreesboro, TN program will be hosting a daylong event on Saturday, September 15, 2018 to raise funds and awareness of their cause and the injured and disabled veterans they serve. Healing Saturday is a special day that sees PHWFF programs across the nation hosting simultaneous daylong events to raise funds and awareness of our cause and the injured and disabled veterans they serve in communities across America.
Join us for a motorcycle ride and charity event for disabled veterans served by Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) in the Murfreesboro area. The event will take place at Bumpus Harley Davidson at 2250 NW Broad St in Murfreesboro, TN.
Now in its second year, this Healing Saturday event will include live music, food, silent auction and door prizes. Numerous local dignitaries are scheduled to speak in addition to other great family friendly activities being offered during the day. All proceeds will go to the disabled veterans served by this local program. Join us in celebrating the volunteers, supporters and communities that help make a difference in the lives of our nation’s disabled veterans..
PHWFF is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans. PHWFF is unique in that volunteers are teaching classes on an on-going, long term basis. It is much more than a one day fishing trip. Program activities include fly fishing instruction, fly tying classes, fly casting workshops, rod building and fly fishing outings. Last year alone, PHWFF served over 8,400 disabled veteran participants at their 200+ programs nationwide.
