We are pleased to announce that Brent Miller has been named Regional Coordinator for the Kentucky-Ohio Region of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing! Join us in welcoming him and congratulating him on his new role!
Brent has been volunteering with PHWFF for six years, three as a Program Lead. He is a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U.S. Army and attained the rank of Sgt. E-5 serving in the Signal Corps. In addition to his new role as Regional Coordinator, Brent will continue to serve as the Program Lead for the Cincinnati, OH Program.
Brent says, “I am a veteran serving veterans. It’s important to give back and carry forward the principles of Project Healing Waters in helping heal veterans with disabilities. Sometimes, all it takes is finding a little peace on the water to heal.” He says as the regional coordinator, his opportunity to serve veterans grows in the larger region.”
He lives in the Cincinnati area with his wife, Lin. They have been married for 31 years. Occasionally, you will find Brent on a motorcycle touring around the countryside; there may be a fly rod strapped to the rear carrier.
