Distinguished journalist Tom Brokaw addressed Veterans, volunteers, and special guests from across the country who had gathered for the 10th Annual Project Healing Waters 2-Fly Tournament at Rose River Farm on April 30, 2016. Mr. Brokaw served as the keynote speaker for the pre-tournament dinner on Saturday night under the stars in picturesque Madison County, Virginia. Addressing over 300 people, his remarks touched upon service, volunteerism, duty, patriotism, and sacrifice.

For a little more than a decade Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) has focused on healing those who serve and The 10th Annual 2-Fly Tournament served to raise funds to provide veterans with the support they need on their journeys to recovery as we move into our second decade of service.  It is through the tremendous contributions of these volunteers and supporters that last year we served over 7400 deserving members of our armed services and this special event helped raise necessary funds for us to continue reaching more injured and disabled veterans with our unique form of therapy in the years to come.
