Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) is pleased to announce thatĀ The 2nd Annual Healing on the Fly-Boston Gala Dinner and AuctionĀ is set to take place atĀ 6:00Ā pmĀ onĀ October 23, 2018 at The Seaport World Trade Center.Ā Ā All proceeds from the event will go towardsĀ providing the thousands of disabled veterans served by PHWFF with the support they need on their journeys to recovery

The evening will feature a cocktail hour with silent auction, seated dinner, a short program featuring PHWFF veteran guest speakers Michael May, U.S. Navy (ret) andĀ Sabrina Beganny, U.S. Army (ret) as well asĀ a live auction with many unique specialty items. May and Beganny will share their experiences as participants in the PHWFF New England Region and how this transformative program inspired them to give back to fellow veterans in their communities.

Healing on the Fly Boston will also feature a special address fromĀ President and CEO Colonel (ret) Todd Desgrosseilliers, USMCĀ and a musical selection from acclaimed singer and DJ, Rich DiMare.

This lovely event is being chaired by a great PHWFF supporter and champion Tommy Lyons, the Director for Community Services Department at MassHousing Agency, a member of the Secretary of the VA Advisory Committee on Homeless Veterans, Chairman of the Massachusetts Veteran and War Memorial Commission and a member of the Governorā€™s Veterans Advisory Council and Chairmen of the Sub ā€“Committee on Veterans Housing. Tom is the recipient of the 2011 ā€œMarine For Lifeā€ Award presented by General James Amos, Commandant of the Marine Corps for his 30 years of advocacy on behalf of our nations Veterans.

For a little more than a decade PHWFF has focused on healing those who serve.Ā  It is through the tremendous contributions of supporters and volunteers nationwide that PHWFF served over 8,400 deserving members of our armed services in 2017.
