2c078484-fce1-45a0-bdb9-36c8c57a1616Members of our Leadership, Staff, Volunteers, and Veteran Participants attended The Fly fishing Show in Somerset NJ during the weekend of January 29, 2016. The show provided all in attendance the opportunity to share our mission and work in a fun, festive, and informative environment.

Attending the show were CEO Ellen Killough, COO David Folkerts, Director of Communications Dan Morgan, Assistant Social Media Manager Ira Strouse, Documents Manager Tony Dunay, Regional Coordinator Tamar Franklin, Deputy Regional Coordinator Tim Daly, and many volunteers and veteran participants from the NY/NJ Region.

We were fortunate to have strong and unique representation throughout the Garden State Expo Center during the weekend.  The lobby area hosted the NY/NJ Region and a separate booth for the National Organization was on the main floor adjacent to Temple Fork Outfitters.   These two locations worked in-tandem, offering attendees and exhibitors the opportunity to meet, and learn from, PHWFF Programs in the local area while the National booth provided support, national information, and a new line of PHWFF products available for suggested donations.

The Fly Fishing Show gave us the opportunity to visit with and acknowledge our many industry supporters and friends.   We enjoyed touring the show floor and recognizing many of the individuals, companies, and organizations whose support has been paramount to our success over the past ten years.

We were thrilled to see so many companies prominently displaying their support of our cause at their booths.

Great moments, highlights, and special visitors abounded throughout the weekend with so many of our friends and supporters gathered at the Garden State Expo Center for the show:

We were honored to have legendary fly-fisherman, Lefty Kreh, spend a considerable part of the weekend with us.

The Somerset Show was a great success with an almost reunion atmosphere. It gave us the opportunity to share our mission and the work we do with the fly fishing community while also offering the chance to network and recruit supporters for PHWFF.  Our thanks to the Furminsky family and the whole team at The Fly Fishing Show, for their continued support of our program and for another great show.
