The PHWFF New York City Program holds many of their winter sessions at the Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Manhattan. The generosity of the Manhattan JCC gives the program a spacious place to hold their regular meetings teaching fly casting, fly tying, and fly fishing 101 — a real luxury for the program, and the disabled veterans it serves, to be able to learn and practice their skills indoors in New York City. This past Veterans Day, the pre-schoolers in the JCCs After School Clubhouse crafted numerous cards thanking the PHWFF veteran participants for their selfless service to our nation. It is our delight to share them with you.
The drawings are from โSarah-Kay Lacks and the Children in the Jewish Community Center of Manhattanโs After School Clubhouse.” ย Our tremendous thanks to the children, Ms. Lacks, and the entire Manhattan JCC for their support of our cause and the veterans we serve.
