The Musconetcong River in New Jersey recently played host to over 30 veteran participants and volunteers from across the New Jersey, Southern New York, and New England Regions.  The outing, organized by Program Lead Andrew Laffey and hosted by the Musconetcong Trout Club, provided an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, great angling, and camaraderie.  The trip was the “icing on the cake” after weeks of program meetings focused on teaching them the basics of fly fishing, fly tying and more.  “The events are where the techniques are executed so that the veterans can have the opportunity to get out and apply the things that we teach them” – Andrew Laffey.  A great time was had by all.
