PHWFF volunteer Monica DeSanto invited Fox 8 News to visit Willoughby, Ohio on a cold, 29 degree morning. Why? So local PHWFF program veterans could be taped saying the Pledge of Allegiance along the bank of the Chagrin River and be featured on WJW’s morning show. 
 
Volunteers and participants shared a fishing story or two, laughed about how cold it was and then warmed up with hot coffee and donuts.
 
As always, we thank our veterans for their service to our community and, more importantly, our country.
