The PHW Spotlight is our way of shining a bright light on those members of our PHW family whose accomplishments and contributions inspire us all.
These individuals, and their stories, are an essential part of the healing journey happening for Veterans across the country. Project Healing Waters transcends fly fishing and these Spotlights are a glimpse into what is happening throughout our programs. We are honored to share these with you each week.

I have always been interested in fly fishing but never found anyone who did it. Project Healing Waters gave me the opportunity to learn about fly fishing and do so alongside fellow Veterans.
While I got into PHW because of fly fishing, the fly tying classes have become my favorite part. The camaraderie that the classes facilitate is the best part of the entire program.
I look forward to seeing the excitement on the faces of new recruits when they catch a trout on flies that they tied themselves. This brings the whole program together, from the camaraderie of the fly tying classes to the on-the-water healing of the fly fishing outings.
The PHW Spotlight will publish each Friday morning on www.projecthealingwaters.org. Learn more about this inspiring series HERE
