Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) is pleased to announce a special evening at Tin Lizzy’s Cantina in Duluth, GA on February 4, 2017. The evening will support the recovery and rehabilitation of injured and disabled active duty military personnel and disabled veterans through their top-tier veteran service program. This “Dine and Donation” night will see 20% of each guests bill donated to PHWFF and provide opportunities to learn more about this nationally recognized veteran rehabilitation program.
“We are extremely appreciative of the timing of The Fly Fishing Show and the generosity of Tin Lizzy’s for their support of our cause and the injured and disabled veterans we serve.” – J. Curtis Boatman, PHWFF Regional Coordinator, Georgia and South Carolina
The event will commence at 6pm EST on February 4, 2017 and is in close proximity to The Fly Fishing Show (being held at the Infinite Energy Center), an entertaining and informative consumer show dedicated to connecting anglers with business owners, manufacturers and other fly fishing professionals. This will provide the opportunity to socialize with members of the fly fishing community while simultaneously giving back to those who have made great sacrifices in the service of our nation. Two local organizations, Winged Reel and Pig Farm Ink, will be recognized for their tremendous support for PHWFF through an annual Gear Drive which, through their efforts, collects thousands of dollars in equipment to PHWFF Programs aiding in their ability to continue providing rehabilitative programs to disabled veterans in need. .
