483fc197-567b-4bc3-b43b-8a1bcd114f52Mike Halperin, a Vietnam-era naval veteran, draws on a lifetime of saltwater fishing experience and writing talent to recount unique angling experiences in his latest book, “True Tales of the Tide: An Angler’s Lifelong Quest.” A percentage of all sales will be donated to Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing and the veterans we serve.

True Tales of the Tide: An Angler’s Lifelong Quest chronicles a wide variety of fishing adventures including the capture of the largest fish caught on rod and reel in Virginia, a 1099-pound, 12-ounce tiger shark. Detailing the effort, dedication, joy, and self-discovery that are part of fishing, True Tales of the Tide will entertain, inspire, and educate both the novice angler and the seasoned sportsman and is great reading for anyone who loves the outdoors.
