On Saturday, May 11, 2019, anglers from all across the state of West Virginia will come together and participate in the 6th Annual Greenbrier River Fly Fishing Classic. This event will support Project Healing Waters programs in West Virginia, and PHWFF participants do not have to pay to participate in the event. It takes place in Lewisburg, West Virginia, and lodging is held at the Greenbrier County Youth Camp.

This event was formed by 4 fishing buddies who all shared a common interest – fly fishing. In the past 6 years, the proceeds donated to PHWFF West Virginia have totaled $4,740.

PHWFF West Virginia is very proud to be a partner in this wonderful event, and the proceeds will benefit so many programs and participants in the state.

If you are interested in registering for the event, participants can register on TourneyX.com. Everyone is invited to stay at the Greenbrier County Youth for $25, and a meet and greet with everyone, including PHWFF veterans, and a review of the rules and regulations will take place on the evening of May 10, 2019. First cast will be at 7 a.m., and final cast will be at 7 p.m. on May 11, 2019. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for largest Smallmouth Bass, most inches Smallmouth Bass per team, and most inches Smallmouth Bass per individual.
