As Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. (PHWFF) continues in our phase three Engagement plan, allowing participants and volunteers from eligible programs to attend outings, more and more programs are reconnecting and getting out on the water to fish!

Navy veteran Vince Berry went wading for his first time ever with the Willoughby, OH Program of PHWFF last week.

Berry told Program Lead Diane Wantz that the outing was the most exercise he’s had in seven years and that the almost three hours he spent on the water only felt like 20 minutes! Although the pollen affects his health, he is excited for it to rain again so he can get back out there and put more miles in his waders!
