For the past two years we have been privileged to both benefit from, and be a part of, an annual foot-race held in Charlottesville, VA at the University of Virginia Research Park Thanks to their great support and charity over the past 2 years, over $30,000 was raised to directly aide our programs and the disabled veterans they serve locally. As such, we are absolutely delighted to announce that this year we are once again beneficiaries of the seventh running of the 4 Our Freedom 5K , taking place on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 8am. This fun race also aims to raise community awareness of non-profits who serve local veterans and military personnel in Virginia, and we’re honored to stand alongside Wintergreen Adaptive Sports, Operation First Response, Living Free, and Parade Rest Virginia on June 3rd.

We’ll be there too! You can stop by and visit us in the post-race Expo area (the grass flanking Dabney Grove Pavilion, adjacent to where the race starts and ends) to learn about our cause and our programs in Virginia. We’ll also have PHWFF volunteers, supporters and staff members running in the race, so keep your eyes peeled for PHWFF hats and T-shits — and cheer them on!
Our great thanks to 4 Our Freedom 5K and all those involved in this noble endeavor for their great support of our cause and the veterans we serve. We’re honored to have been selected as beneficiaries of this fantastic community event and cause. See you on Saturday June 3, 2017 at the UVA Research Park!
