To date, over 43 PHWFF programs have ordered Postfly tying kits, ensuring that over 1,400 disabled veterans have the tools, community and support they need during the uncertainly and isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic
Beginning in April 2020, a special partnership was formed between Postfly and Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing to provide disabled veterans with a continuum of care and a supportive community during the COVID-19 pandemic by enabling PHWFF programs to continue their regular activities virtually and at home. Through this special partnership, Postfly has been providing resources like prepackaged fly tying material kits, fly tying vises and fly tying tool kits ordered by PHWFF programs that are being shipped directly by Postfly to PHWFF disabled veteran participants for their use at home in-conjunction with virtual PHWFF program meetings.
To date, over 40 PHWFF programs have ordered Postfly tying kits, ensuring that over 1258 disabled veterans have the tools, community and support they need during the uncertainly and isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic. The partnership, service, and support continues to grow daily and it is bringing healing, community and needed therapy to vulnerable veterans who are suffering during these uncertain times.
