The Greater Boston Firefighters Pipes and Drums honors all members of the fire service and armed forces. The band is devoted to serving the Greater Boston area fire departments at Line of Duty Death funerals, memorial services, ceremonies, banquets, parades, and other fire service functions. And for the past three years, the Greater Boston Firefighters Pipes & Drums band has been a part of the Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing family.

Healing on the Fly – Boston is an annual dinner held in the heart of historic Boston to celebrate and support Project Healing Waters and the disabled veterans served by over 200 programs across the Nation.  The evening brings Bostonians, New Englanders, veterans, anglers, and advocates together for a night of patriotism, support and celebration.  The Greater Boston Firefighters Pipes and Drums has been an integral part and highlight of the evening — formally announcing it’s start with procession and a special selection of songs.
