On January 8, the PHWFF Indianapolis Program held a fly-tying class at the Zionsville Lions Club in Zionsville, Indiana.

A panfish popper and one other pattern was on the docket for our veteran participants to learn how to tie.

I always look forward to the events that our local PHWFF Program puts together. Being a veteran myself, I know how much it means to our program participants.

indianapolis volunteer michael prybis

Prybis said the most memorable moments is simply just being able to get together and talk with fellow veterans and volunteers.

“Helping other veterans tie their first fly or demonstrating and teaching them how to whip finish and watching them execute it is most memorable,” Prybis said.

Prybis would like to thank Indianapolis Program Lead Joseph Smith for everything he does for the program and the veteran participants.

He would also like to thank the Zionsville Lions Club for their continued support and use of their facility.
