Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. (PHWFF) today announced the resignation of the nonprofit organization’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Todd Desgrosseilliers.  The PHWFF Board of Trustees has launched a search for a successor.  Emily Hendricks, PHWFF’s Chief Administrative Officer, will serve as interim CEO, effective immediately.

Since coming to PHWFF in 2016, Desgrosseilliers has been a tireless advocate for our Nation’s active duty military service members and veterans.  During his tenure, the organization has experienced tremendous growth and transformed into the crucial nonprofit it is today. We thank Todd for his commitment and contributions to the organization.

Our mission hasn’t changed—and won’t change—with the leadership transition. Our Board of Trustees, Staff and volunteers continue their commitment to the healing of wounded and disabled veterans through fly fishing and fly tying. We will continue to grow our participant population by supporting and sustaining local volunteer leadership through stewardship of finances, compliance, and a commitment to our mission.

Our Founder, Ed Nicholson provided a vision for PHWFF over 16 years ago. He set an example  of service that has inspired thousands to dedicate themselves to “healing those who serve” in their communities around the United States.  We shall never forget those that sacrificed for our freedoms. Together we will give them hope and help them heal.
