The Inaugural “Legends of the Fly Invitational” to Benefit the Veterans We Serve

The Legends of the Fly Invitational will take place on September 30 – October 1, 2016 in Virginia Beach, VA. The event is a celebration of the Coastal Virginia fishery and Virginia’s fly fishing culture. Additionally, the event hopes to draw attention to Lynnhaven River Now’s efforts to enhance fish habitat while also providing support to our nations veterans through Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing. This unique fly fishing-only tournament will allow participants to utilize wading or any watercraft of their choosing to fish their favorite locations.

Tournament Schedule:

Angler’s Dinner 9/30

Shore Break Pizza and Tap House (located at 2941 Shore Drive in Virginia Beach)

Time: 6 – 8:30 pm

Awards Dinner 10/1

Chic’s Oyster Bar (located at 2143 Vista Circle in Virginia Beach)

Time: 4:00 pm until 7:30 pm

(Buffet Dinner will be served thanks to Owners Cory Beisel and Mike Atkinson)

Registration

Entry fee: $200

(Includes: 2 anglers in the tournament and buffet dinner at awards banquet)
