PHW COS TR.02.2025 | Cook Orientation –
Calling All Cooks: Make a Difference One Meal at a Time!
Are you ready to bring warmth, nourishment, and camaraderie to our fishing trips in 2025? Becoming a Cook for Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing is about more than just preparing meals, it’s about creating a welcoming space where Participants and Volunteers can connect, recharge, and share stories over good food.
-
As a PHW Cook, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our trips run smoothly by providing well-planned, nutritious meals for our Participants and Volunteers. Whether you’re a seasoned camp chef or new to outdoor cooking, this role is a meaningful way to support the mission while making a lasting impact.
If you’ve cooked for PHW trips in the past, we still want you at this orientation! We’ll be covering new meal-planning processes, safety considerations, and best practices to enhance the 2025 season. Plus, your experience is invaluable, your insights will help guide and support new cooks joining the team.
This orientation will be led by Dennis Johnson and will ensure you have everything you need to be a successful Cook for PHW in the upcoming season.
